Different from traditional canning, quick preserving methods are easy, fast and allow you to enjoy all the offerings of your garden throughout the season. Quick pickles are perfect for those who are inexperienced in canning fruits and vegetables and who don't have the time or space available for traditional canning.

In this hands-on workshop you’ll prepare and take home a quick-jam, 3-day cucumber pickle and pickled vegetables.

  • minimum 5 participants, maximum 10 participants

  • ages 12 and up

  • supplies provided by Cultivate Cochrane Society

Please note that tickets are non-refundable but the value can be transferred to a future workshop, within the same calendar year, up to one week before the preferred future event. Location provided upon registration.
